Is there a better way to pass the day? Jessica Simpson spent some quality one-on-one time with her 8-month-old son, Ace Knute Johnson, on Thursday, Feb. 20 — and luckily for Us, she shared the adorable picture proof on Instagram.
“Selfie fun,” the 33-year-old Weight Watchers spokesperson captioned one photo of the mother-son duo making similar wide-eyed, open-mouthed expressions. Alongside another snap, this one of her little boy’s feet, she wrote, “Ace and his Daddy will definitely share shoes one day. He isn’t even 8 months yet! Whoa!”
A third black-and-white picture showed the two cuddling in front of the TV. Simpson is looking at the camera, but Ace is transfixed by something off to the side. “American Idol captivated him,” the fashion mogul joked of the photo.
Ace’s apparent love of music definitely comes from his mom. “I want to sing again,” the “Public Affair” crooner said in a recent interview for Good Morning America. “I want my daughter [Maxwell, 21 months] to see me onstage. My fiance [Eric Johnson] has never even watched me perform. Which is crazy. But that is my passion, that is my love. Like, that is everything that I am.”
