Awkward? Not quite. Joe Jonas' current girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler and one of the singer's former loves, actress Ashley Greene, bonded over a pottery-painting session with pals at Color Me Mine on Saturday, Jan. 25 in Beverly Hills.
"Definitely not telling which is color me mine.." 26-year-old Greene wrote beside an Instagram picture of an array of painted plates, mugs, and shot glasses. "A for effort?" the Twilight star added, tagging actresses Cara Santana, Ellie Beltran, and other pals present for the painting party, including Eggenschwiler.
Wearing a black button-down shirt with her brunette locks swept into a ponytail, Greene looked relaxed and happy getting crafty with the model on Saturday.
After all, it's been nearly three years since Greene and Jonas split, although the singer rehashed his romance with the star in an extensive, tell-all interview with New York magazine in December 2013: "She was my first serious relationship," the 24-year-old star said of Greene. "We were together for almost a year. I was living out in L.A. by myself, and at the end of the day, long distance didn’t work. It’s incredibly difficult."
Jonas — who has also dated Taylor Swift and Camilla Belle — also dished details on his sexual history, including when he lost his virginity: "I did other stuff before then, but I was sexually active at 20," he said. Without naming the person, Jonas added to NY Mag: "I'm glad I waited for the right person, because you look back and you go, 'That girl was bats—t crazy. I'm glad I didn't go there.'"
"After Ashley, I took two or three years to just be single," he shared. "I was hooking up and having fun. Now I'm with someone I really care about. We get each other."
The "someone" mentioned by Jonas is 29-year-old Eggenschwiler, a graphic designer and model, whom he started dating in November 2012 after being introduced through a mutual friend. As previously confirmed by Us Weekly, Greene is now dating Liam Hemsworth's best friend Paul Khoury.
