That’s a whole lotta look! Neil Patrick Harris and his fiancé David Burtka turned heads at the Met Gala in New York City on Monday evening, May 5.
The longtime couple went bold for the star-studded soirée, rocking coordinated tuxedos with slim-fit ankle-length pants, white cummerbunds and bow ties, and cropped coats featuring long tails.
Harris, 40, went with a classic black-and-white palette, topping off his black coat with a white pocket square.
The How I Met Your Mother actor also took a little makeup inspiration from his drag costume from his current role in Broadway’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Currently sporting brunette locks, Harris highlighted his features with bronzer on his cheeks and eyeliner drawing out his eyes.
Burtka, 38, went all-in, wearing navy, gray, and white-striped trousers and a navy, gray, and white-printed argyle coat. His wild tuxedo coat featured red trim on the lapel and pocket.
The stars have been together for ten years and are the parents to twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace, 3. They announced their engagement in 2011, saying they proposed to one another more than five years prior.
