Teresa and Joe Giudice’s RHONJ Costars Tweet About Staying Positive Amid Couple’s Court Case

Teresa and Joe Giudice's Real Housewives of New Jersey costars took to Twitter with messages about "staying positive" amid the couple's court case on March 4

Teresa Giudice needs all the support she can get right now. While the Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her husband, Joe Giudice, were in court on Tuesday, March 4, pleading guilty to several mortgage and bankruptcy fraud charges filed against them last year, the couple's Bravo costars were on Twitter posting cryptic messages about "staying positive" amid hard times.

"It's all how you look at it…perception is everything. #StayPositive #ChooseLoveNotFear," Dina Manzo tweeted, later noting, "BTW if you get pleasure out of others' pain or even partake in the neg gossip of all…it says so much more about you than them. #thinkaboutit"

Former RHONJ star Jacqueline Laurita also posted a mysterious (but supportive) message via Twitter. "Praying for a dear old friend and her family today," she wrote, adding a picture of a quote attributed to Demi Lovato. "No matter what you're going through, there's a light at the end of the tunnel," the quote read, "and it may seem hard to get to it, but you can do it, and just keep working towards it and you'll find the positive side of things."

Of course, it's possible the tweets have nothing to do with the Giudices, since neither Manzo nor Laurita mentioned them by name. The timing of their messages, however, is more than a little coincidental.

Fellow Housewife NeNe Leakes, meanwhile — of the Atlanta spin-off — addressed the incident directly in an interview with The Insider on Tuesday. "Honestly, I have to say I wish [Teresa and Joe] all the best because I don't wish harm on anybody," the future Dancing With the Stars contestant said. "I don't want to see her have to go to jail. She is a mom, she has kids, I have kids, and her kids need her. So I just wish her all the best."

As previously reported, Teresa and Joe Giudice were charged in a 41-count indictment on various fraud and tax charges last summer. They pleaded guilty to several of these charges on Tuesday, and are scheduled to be sentenced on July 8 of this year.

"Today I took responsibility for a series of mistakes I made several years ago," Teresa said in a statement to Us Weekly. "I have said throughout that I respect the legal process and thus I intend to address the court directly at sentencing. I will describe the choices I made, continue to take responsibility for my decisions, and express my remorse to Judge Salas and the public."

She added: "I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family — especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world."
