O-Town Reuniting After 10 Years Without Original Member Ashley Parker Angel

The band — Jacob Underwood, Dan Miller, Erik-Michael Estrada, and Trevor Penick — shared a video of themselves getting back into the studio, and spoke with Billboard about the next chapter. “We started this reunion purely for the fun of it,” Underwood said. “We had discussed a summer tour to perform our old songs and finally give the fans what they’ve been asking us for the last 10 years. However, once we began working, what developed was something a little more ambitious. The ideas kept flying and we couldn’t help but start making new music.”

One person noticeably absent from the surprise reunion is original member Ashley Parker Angel. The singer won’t be returning to the group, but has been keeping fans aware of his whereabouts via Instagram. On March 14, the musician posted a shirtless selfie after working out in the gym. “Getting to the gym 5 days a week has been challenging but it’s starting to pay off. #staymotivated?,” he wrote.

O-Town formed back in 2000 on MTV’s Making the Band, and are known for hits including “All Or Nothing,” “Liquid Dreams,” and “Every Six Seconds.” As for when their new music will be released? “You will hear a new single soon :),” the band reassured fans via Twitter.
