Ireland Baldwin is newly single! The model has split from her boyfriend Slater Trout, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
"Her life has gotten crazy in the past year or so," the insider tells Us of the breakup. "She is really trying to keep her momentum going as a model and she can't do that and go to school and have a boyfriend. She's young, she always had an idea that it wouldn't last forever."
The 18-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger first began dating the surfer in 2013. The pair made their first red carpet appearance together at the 50th Anniversary of Sports Illustrated Issue event in L.A. on Jan. 14. (Baldwin is a senior in an independent study program.)
Ireland is making changes to her personal appearance, too. On March 5, the typicaly blonde stunner debuted a new lilac hair color. "I could get used to this," she wrote.
"Purple hair and work out clothes really don't go together," she added on March 6. "Like I may have to give up physical activity for my purple hair."
