She's popped! Gail Simmons has given birth to a baby girl, her rep confirms to Us Weekly. The Top Chef judge and her husband Jeremy Abrams welcomed their sweet little girl on Sunday, Dec. 29.
The couple's daughter Dahlia Rae Abrams weighed in at 7 lbs., 3 oz. This is their first child.
Us exclusively broke news in July that Simmons, 37, was pregnant. The Toronto native and Abrams — who manages the music programming business Audiostiles — tied the knot in 2008.
The Food and Wine editor shared how her husabnd proposed in her memoir, Talking With My Mouth Full. "We made it last the whole day, laid out like a picnic on our living room floor," she said of a "full breakfast delivery" Abrams made after he popped the question. "Twenty minutes later, the doorbell rang again. Two deliverymen arrived bearing vases full of flowers; huge peonies, dahlias, roses, and hydrangeas. They lasted for days."
The family of three currently lives in Brooklyn, NYC.
