You’ve got to love Britney Spears! The “I’m a Slave 4 U” singer took part in a totally hilarious sketch during Neil Patrick Harris‘ new late-night variety show Best Time Ever on Tuesday, Sept. 22, pretending to interview potential new bodyguards, while saying only the things Harris and Joe Jonas told her to.
As Harris, 42, and Jonas, 26, sat in the studio, ready to remote operate a willing Spears, a group of unsuspecting wannabe bodyguards were introduced to the pop sensation, and were somewhat surprised by what they discovered.
The first bodyguard was met by cute Spears who announced (on Harris’ orders) that she was the “one and only Britney Spears” and demanded her hand be kissed. “How strong are you?” Spears asked, wide-eyed with expectation. Bodyguard Andrew replied he was the strongest man in the whole military.
“Stronger than tanks?” Jonas told Spears to respond, so she did, in a brilliantly ditzy manner.
Next up was Keith, and Harris told Spears exactly how this introduction was going to go. Following her orders, Spears held out her hand. “Hi, it’s Britney, bitch,” the 33-year-old performer told her visitor as directed, reducing the enormous bodyguard into nervous giggles. She then played a game of musical chairs with the muscleman until he begged her to stop.
Third time around, Spears showed off her (distinctly unimpressive) juggling skills on Harris’ instructions. “Look what I can do!” she said, reducing hunky applicant Wesley to embarrassed laughter, before proclaiming him cooler than Batman.
