Kate Middleton‘s Marilyn Monroe moment has arrived. The Duchess of Cambridge experienced a wardrobe malfunction last month during the 2014 Royal Tour of New Zealand and Australia, but a German tabloid just published the photos of her bare butt on Tuesday, May 27.

Bild ran a headline of Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and the Duchess, all from behind—the focal point, of course, on the Kardashians’ assets, while Middleton’s bare bum was exposed by a gust of wind from a helicopter. The accompanying caption, unfortunately, read: “Khloe, Kim and Kate—butts which have moved us these past few days.”

The German tabloid went on to describe the revealing pic of Kate as “Photos show our favorite Duchess Kate, 32, in the Australian Blue Mountains. The rotor blades of the royal helicopter swirl the air so that Kate’s summer dress blew up—giving a clear view of her beautiful bum!”

The image shows Prince William guiding his wife—bum unsuspectingly exposed—after stepping off a chopper during their April 17 tour stop in Winmalee, Australia. There, the royal couple met with bush fire victims and emergency relief personnel. For the outing, the Duchess wore her favorite Stuart Weitzman wedges along with an Ikat print wrap dress by Diane von Furstenberg. See more photos of William and Kate here.

Kensington Palace has yet to comment on the picture, though if 2012’s topless pictures debacle was any indication, they are probably furious over the latest shot.

(The Duchess was photographed topless with her husband on a private property in Southern France, and the images were later published in September 2012 by a French magazine. The photographer who took the images and editor of Closer were later charged and it was ruled that the photos could never be published or sold again.)
