Brenda and Kelly would approve! Luke Perry hasn’t lost his boyish charm (or his hot bod!) as the actor was photographed shirtless during a trip to Bora Bora on Tuesday, May 20.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 47, was joined by a mystery brunette for the afternoon outing. Perry wore multi-colored black and purple swim shorts and accessorized with black sunglasses. His beach buddy, meanwhile, wore a pink tank top, matching swimsuit and black shorts. (He shares son Jack, 16, and daughter Sophie, 13, with ex-wife Rachel Sharp.)
Long gone are the days when the ’90s bad boy attended West Beverly Hills High School with his costars Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley (Brandon), Tori Spelling (Donna), Brian Austin Green (David), and Ian Ziering (Steve). The cast, however, have remained amicable for the most part since the show’s 2000 finale.
Back in January 2013, Perry reminisced about the cast during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live. Better yet, he played a round of “Marry, Shag, Kill,” and was given three options: Garth, Doherty, or Spelling.
“I’d marry Tori because I told her dad I’d look out for her,” he said of 90210’s late creator Aaron Spelling. “That’s the best way for me to do that. I’d kill Shannen, because she’d want me to. And that’s the only reason. And what was the other one?” he asked host Andy Cohen.
“Shag,” Cohen replied.
“Well, there you go!” Perry said of Garth.
The teen heartthrob went on to say that he considers Priestley a “lifelong friend” and is still very close with Garth. The Mystery Girls actress, for her part, also touched on her relationship with Perry on Good Morning America back in March.
He’s “like a brother,” she explained at the time. “It’s just Kelly and Dylan, people just have this image in their mind. Our fans are so loyal from that show, and we’re so grateful.”
