Alyson Hannigan pulled a Malin Akerman with a major haircut following the wrap of her show.
In February, Akerman cut her long blonde hair into a chin-length style after her ABC comedy Trophy Wife finished filming. Now, Hannigan has done the same after the series wrap of How I Met Your Mother (sob).
The redheaded actress, 39, showed off her new sleek bob on March 6 in Los Angeles. The shoulder-sweeping style looks modern and fresh, thanks to its face-framing layers. Hannigan and Akerman join a long list of celebs, including Emma Roberts, Jessica Alba, and Kate Mara, who have tried the bob hairstyle in recent months.
The ending of the ninth and final season of the legen-wait for it-dary How I Met Your Mother series has been an emotional one for the cast. When asked about what she'll miss about working with her on-screen husband, Jason Segel, on The Talk in January, Hannigan got choked up. "He's just such a wonderful guy…I'm getting all…" she said. "I'm not good at answering this question at all."
