Minkus is back! Lee Norris, who played Cory Matthews' nerdy middle school classmate Stuart Minkus on Boy Meets World, is set to reprise his role in an episode of the sitcom's upcoming spinoff, Girl Meets World, Entertainment Weekly confirms.
Minkus — the smartest kid in Cory's sixth-grade class — was a fan favorite in the beginning of the series but disappeared after season one. He later made a cameo at their high school graduation in season five, joking that he'd been "on the other side of the school" the whole time.
After Boy Meets World, Norris went on to star as Marvin "Mouth" McFadden on One Tree Hill. Now 32, he also has a role in the upcoming movie Gone Girl, based on the novel of the same name.
Girl Meets World was picked up by the Disney Channel last June. Set it New York, it stars Rowan Blanchard as Riley Matthews, the middle-school-age daughter of beloved couple Cory and Topanga, played by original series stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel. William Daniels, who won hearts as Mr. Feeny, is also set to appear in at least one episode.
