Trouble in bromance paradise? During an appearance on Chelsea Lately Wednesday, March 12, Adam Levine joked about his close friendship with fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton.
After Levine complimented her for being outspoken, host Chelsea Handler quipped: "You're in love with Blake Shelton. You're not scared to admit that." She teasingly added, "You guys have been dating for what, two and a half years now? That's beautiful."
"We're having some sexual problems, though," Levine, 34, joked.
"Is that on your end more?" Handler, 39, asked. "Well, he drinks a lot so he probably can't . . . "
"He drinks a lot so . . . It's a problem," he added, teasing that Shelton, 37, struggles with impotence. "But it's fine. He's okay. We'll be all right. We'll figure it out somehow."
"I've talked to Miranda about it too," Handler joked about Shelton's wife Miranda Lambert. "She has the same issues as you do because he's drunk all the time."
"That's why we get along, Miranda and I, so well," Levine explained, "because we have so much to talk about between the two of our relationships."
While Levine's bromance with Shelton may be rocky at the moment, the Maroon 5 frontman seems to have developed a little crush on Handler. The "Love Somebody" singer praised the host for slamming Piers Morgan during a March 10 interview on Piers Morgan Live.
"I heard you just told Piers Morgan to f–k off, which is awesome. I'm super impressed by you lately," Levine, who is engaged to Behati Prinsloo, told Handler. "You've been, like, punk rock. She's been, like, kicking ass."
