Eric Forman and Piper Chapman have nothing to worry about when it comes to Tom Cruise. After rumors surfaced last week that the thrice-divorced actor had been secretly dating actress and fellow Scientologist Laura Prepon, the Orange Is the New Black star finally set the record straight on April 21.

"It's just so funny that, when people don't know, they just make stuff up, [like], apparently I'm dating Tom Cruise right now," Prepon told popular women's website SheKnows.com.
"And apparently he doesn't want me doing the show because I portray a lesbian and I'm a Scientologist. This is false; where are they even getting this stuff? It's unbelievable to me."
The report originated from the New York Post's Page Six, which claimed the two were trying to keep their romance under wraps. Both of the stars' reps denied these claims.
Cruise and Prepon originally sparked romance rumors in November 2013 when they were spotted dining together in L.A. The Top Gun 2 star, 51, has not publicly dated anyone since splitting with wife Katie Holmes in 2012. Prepon, 34, ended her longtime relationship with Christopher Masterson, the brother of her That '70s Show costar Danny Masterson, in 2007.
