Shine on, Halle!
For the Los Angeles premiere of Extant on June 16, Halle Berry, 47, shimmered in a gunmetal knit dress by Jenny Packham. The curve-hugging style featured embellishments at the neckline and cuffs and showed off the CBS series star’s slim post-baby body.
Berry, mom of Nahla, 6, and Maceo, 8 months, plays an astronaut who returns home from a solo mission in space after a year away from her family in the Steven Spielberg-produced thriller. “I think my character struggles with what is it to be a mother,” she told Us Weekly. “How do you love? How do you teach someone to love? What is being human? And these are all good questions that I think of when I think of my daughter.”
Other than her new drama, which premieres on July 9, Berry will head south of the border with her children to join Olivier Martinez, who walked with the Oscar winner on the red carpet for the first time in one year. “My husband is working in Mexico, so we’ll be following him there to keep our family all together,” Berry told Us. “That will be fun and will be a good experience for the kids.”
