Joe Nichols is keeping Georgia on his mind! The country star, 37, welcomed his third child on Tuesday, May 20—a baby girl named Georgia with wife Heather Nichols.
"It's official! At 8:06am we were blessed with our brand new baby girl, Georgia Nichols," the "Brokenheartsville" singer tweeted on Tuesday afternoon. "At 7 lbs. 4 oz., her and mom are doing great."
Georgia is the crooner's third daughter. He and Heather, who've been married since 2007, have a 2-year-old little girl, Dylan; he's also dad to a teenage daughter, Ashelyn, from a previous relationship.
Nichols and his wife went through a lot to have kids. In an interview with The View back in 2012, they spoke about their struggle with infertility. "It's like my body was allergic to babies, really," Heather said. "Every time I would get pregnant, it would immediately start fighting the pregnancy."
When they finally welcomed Dylan, it was "just amazing," Nichols said. "The first thing I thought of was, 'This is the most exciting moment of my life.'" He added, "I cried like a little girl."
