Relativity Media’s Brick Mansions, a remake of French action flick District B13, stars Walker as Damien Collier, a Detroit-based undercover cop, whose job is to disarm a ticking neutron bomb in the possession of a ruthless crime lord named Tremaine Alexander (played by Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA). Parkour founder David Belle, who also starred in the original French film, plays Walker’s crime-fighting partner.

Walker and costar RZA, who met on the set of Mansions, still remained close pals after filming for the movie wrapped in July 2013. In the days following Walker’s death, the Wu-Tang Clan frontman dedicated a song to the late actor called “Destiny Bends.”

“I only knew him personally for less than a year, but we knew each other through our work and art,” RZA commented beside his demo. “We saw in each other a kindred spirit of men coming from unlikely circumstances, and rising to be the light and beacon of our family and loved ones. Men who learned the joy and pains of love in life, and success, while coming to realize that nothing is more important than family, friendship, and the brotherhood of humanity.”
