Ivanka Trump Shows Off Her Baby Bump, Talks Disagreements With Dad Donald Trump: ‘I Would Challenge Him’

Ivanka Trump

Bumping beauty! Ivanka Trump stuns on the cover of Town & Country’s February 2016 issue, dressed in pink and cradling her blossoming baby bump.

In fact, the mother and mogul, 34, who’s expecting her third child with husband Jared Kushner, is the picture of serenity and elegance in all of the spread’s photos, including one featuring the blonde stunner in a timeless, body-conscious black gown.

But inside the issue, the former model turns fierce, defending her father, Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump. “He is running for the highest elective office in this country, and arguably the world … it’s amazing to see how his message has resonated and what he’s been able to accomplish as a non-politician with a very strong point of view,” she said. “He’s my father and I love him and I fully support him. I’m always there for him if it’s helpful.”

Ivanka also insists that her father does indeed respect woman, and that her role as the executive vice president of development & acquisitions of the Trump Organization proves it. “If he didn’t feel that women were as competent as men, I would be relegated to some role subordinate to my brothers,” she shared. “I think this is one of his great strengths: He fully prioritizes merit and accomplishment and skill and ability over background, education and gender. This company, over four decades, has always had women in its highest ranks. … [He has] confidence in women to do any job that a man can do, and my whole life has been proof of that.”

That said, she admits that they do have their disagreements. “Well, I’m his daughter,” she said. “In a political capacity, I don’t [disagree with him]. It’s his campaign. I don’t feel that’s my role. But I would challenge him as a child. That’s what children do. [My daughter] Arabella challenges me every day.”

She added, “People ask me, do I ever disagree with my father? It would be a little strange if I didn’t!”

Town & Country’s new issue hits newsstands on January 5.
