Nicolas Cage is a national treasure. As if to clear up any lingering questions about whether he's in on the joke that is his strange, meme-generating internet fame, the Left Behind actor wore a T-shirt with his own face on it to the Guns N' Roses concert in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 7.

Guns N' Roses posted a picture of the star to its Instagram after the band's show at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino this past weekend. The photo shows Cage, 50, standing next to actor-comedian Andrew Dice Clay while rocking a blue blazer, beaded necklaces, a cowboy hat, and a white T-shirt emblazoned with an illustration of his face, as seen in the 1988 movie Vampire's Kiss.

The drawing on the shirt is a popular one on message boards. Commonly referred to as the "You Don't Say" meme, it's often used as a sarcastic (and condescending) response to an obvious statement.

"You Don't Say" is just one of many memes inspired by Cage. "The internet has developed this thing about me — and I'm not even a computer guy, you know?" he told the Guardian in 2013 of his joked-about celebrity. "I don't know why it is happening. I'm trying not to…let me say this: I'm now of the mindset that, when in Rome, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."

Incidentally, Cage is not the first star to wear a shirt with his own face on it. In May, Macaulay Culkin went meta by wearing a T-shirt with a picture of Ryan Gosling wearing a T-shirt with a picture of Culkin on it.
