Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici can't wait to, well, stop waiting. The Bachelor bride and groom-to-be — who famously decided to abstain from sex until marriage — are counting down the minutes until their wedding night.
"Well, of course [we're excited]," Lowe told ABC News on Wednesday, Jan. 22, just days before their wedding on Sunday, Jan. 26. (Engaged since the finale of The Bachelor's 17th season, the couple plan to say "I do" in a live TV special on ABC.)
"We made a really good decision for us, and we're excited to consummate as husband and wife," Giudici, 27, added. "It's something that is a benefit of being married."
Indeed, the reality TV stars were practically giddy while talking about their upcoming nuptials. Asked which one of them will be the first to break down and cry on the big day, Lowe pointed the finger at himself.
"Definitely me. I'm the softie," the Dallas furniture store-owner, 30, admitted. "Anytime I start talking about her, I can't help but tear up."
Do they feel extra pressure knowing that potentially millions of people will be watching their vows? "I'm gonna be focusing on her and watching her walk down the aisle in her dress. And we're kinda used to the cameras after all this anyway," he said. "Honestly, I'm just gonna be zeroed in on Catherine."
The Dancing With the Stars alum also revealed what he'd chosen as the song for their first dance: "One Woman" by the Randy Rogers Band.
The theme of their wedding, graphic designer Giudici said, is "grown sexy." "We're definitely a fun, whimsical couple — there are gonna be elements of that in the wedding — but 'grown sexy' is very romantic," she explained. "[It'll be] just a sexy day."
