The Big Hoss is big no mo. Pawn Stars' third-generation fan favorite, Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison, revealed to Good Morning America in a Monday, July 21 segment, that dropping nearly 200 pounds (thanks to lap band surgery and lifestyle changes) was a matter of health.

"It's weird to feel better at 31 than 25," the History Channel star said. A routine visit to the doctor's office back in 2011 revealed that he was pre-diabetic; this led to his decision to undergo surgery.

"Literally, I'm driving home from the doctor's office, kind of freaked out about it," Harrison told ABC's Abbie Boudreau. "I see the place where they do lap band [surgeries] and I just pulled in and said, 'What does it take to have the surgery?'"

At his heaviest, Harrison weighed more than 400 pounds. Although he "didn't have much money" at the time, Harrison wanted to prioritize and invest in his health. "I pulled out four credit cards and put it on that," he recalled, "and there you go!"

Post-surgery, Harrison swapped his lifestyle, too. "I can only have four to five ounces of food in my stomach," he told ABC News. "When you only have that much space in there, you don't want to fill it up with crap."

In fact, his personal weight loss journey has inspired his fellow costar and partner-in-crime Austin "Chumlee" Russell (who was the victim of a death hoax in March). The affable and soft-spoken reality star, Harrison told ABC, has lost about 100 pounds thus far.

"Chum kind of thought we were gonna be fat guys together forever or something," Harrison said. "I'm proud of him. He did it all with diet and exercise," while joking: "[But] he's the sidekick! Let's not forget that."

Harrison's popular series is currently in its eleventh season. It also stars his father Rick Harrison and grandfather Richard "Old Man" Harrison.
