Ready, set … political party! Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen get all gussied up as part of a Bud Light Super Bowl ad set to premiere during the big game February 7 — and fans of the two comedians got a sneak peek in a clip posted Thursday, January 21.
In the 30-second teaser, Schumer, 34, and Rogen, 33, get ready for their big moment as representatives of the “Bud Light Party,” in a clear nod to this year’s much talked-about elections.
While the Trainwreck actress dons pantyhose, Spanx and pearls, Rogen squeezes into stockings, a dress shirt and tie, and munches on a hot dog.
“This is more than a Super Bowl ad,” Bud Light’s vice president Alexander Lambrecht said in a statement. “It’s a completely new communication of what Bud Light stands for — inclusivity, positivity and fun. The Bud Light Party allows our brand to live in the right now.”
UFC fighter Ronda Rousey — who will host the January 23 episode of Saturday Night Live — is also rumored to be involved with the commercial.
Last year’s collection of Super Bowl ads included spots as diverse as the touching Budweiser “Lost Dog” ad, Snickers’ Brady Bunch–themed parody and T-Mobile’s Kardashian-centric commercial.
