If only hopes could heal. Joan Rivers has a lot of friends and fans in Hollywood — many of whom took to Twitter this week to send their well wishes to the comedienne, who was hospitalized in critical condition on Thursday, Aug. 28, after experiencing complications during a throat procedure.
Stars including Joan Collins, Ellen DeGeneres, Larry King, and Charlie Sheen sent their love and good thoughts to the Fashion Police host, 81, as they waited for an update on her condition. As of Thursday evening, she was "resting comfortably" at New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital with her daughter, Melissa, who flew in to be by her mother's side.
