It’s a girl!…And a boy! Pregnant Terricka Cromartie spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about her twin babies-to-be with husband Antonio Cromartie, cornerback for the New York Jets. Revealing that they have a son and a daughter on the way, she says, “I feel great, but really big! I’m very aware that there are two babies growing in there. I feel huge!”
Former video vixen and reality star Terricka, 28, was especially shocked to learn about her pregnancy because her husband — already a father of 10, eight of which are from previous relationships — had undergone a vasectomy. “The more I researched it, the more common I found out this phenomenon was,” Terricka had previously told Us.
This little boy and girl will be Antonio’s 11th and 12th children, making their extended family even bigger! Although Terricka and Antonio have faced some harsh criticism from the public, this time around, the response has been “really positive,” she says. “Ultimately, when you’re pregnant, you want other people to be happy for you — and I received an abundance of love from people sliding in my DMs.”
Terricka and Antonio, 27, are already decorating their nursery in their New Jersey home. “We’re decorating the nursery with grays and creams. We want it to look very soft, warm and elegant.”
Shopping for baby products with her hubby has been a blast too, she says. “We bought the most beautiful and the world’s highest baby chair, Bloom Baby. I recommend it for every mom, because it reclines in three positions and can be used for newborns until the age of 8 years old.” Terricka continues, “My favorite thing I bought are these Freshly Picked moccasins – perfect for newborn feet and so stylish!”
And, in advance of that double delivery, Mom and Dad are already divvying up baby duties. “He’s taking the night shift, and I’m doing the morning shift,” she tells Us. “We’re trying to figure it all out beforehand because now there will be two babies at once!”
Their other two children, daughter Jurzie, 5, and son Jagger, 3, are also gearing up for the big arrivals, Terricka adds. “They keep saying, ‘My sister’s going to sleep with me! My brother’s going to sleep with me!’ They also keep asking when the babies are coming … They still don’t quite understand how long a pregnancy takes!”
