Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth Dish on Detective Skills For New Show Mystery Girls

Step aside, Nancy Drew! Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth are Hollywood’s hottest new detectives.

The blonde beauties are teaming up for Mystery Girls, a new show due out from ABC Family next week. The comedy reunites the Beverly Hills, 90210 stars as they play two women named Charlie (Garth) and Holly (Spelling) who band together to solve a mystery.

The plot lines hit close to home for the soap stars, as both of their characters are former “detective TV show starlets,” one of whom “longs for her glory days in the ’90s when she was on television.”

Mystery GirlsAhead of the Wednesday, June 25 premiere of the show, Garth, 42, and Spelling, 41, caught up with their Mystery Girls costar Miguel Pinzon for a personality game. Pinzon, who previously made cameos in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and 30 Rock, quizzed Garth and Spelling on who would make a better detective.
