It’s almost time! Kim Kardashian is gearing up to walk down the aisle to marry Kanye West on Saturday, May 24, at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, and workers are getting down to business preparing for the big day.
Cranes were spotted at the location, erecting marquee tents and various other structures on May 21, while the bride, 33, and groom, 36, 700 miles away in Paris, went shopping and hit the gym.
“It will be a princess fairy tale for Kim,” a source says in the new issue of Us Weekly, adding, “Kanye thought of every detail.”
Beginning Friday, May 23, guests will start arriving and are expected to check-in to the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. “At exactly 3 P.M. attendees will get a text saying what’s happening the rest of the weekend,” a source close to the couple tells Us.
Later that evening, guests will get a “surprise tour” of the Palace of Versailles, Catherine Pegard, president of the chateau, tells Us.
The following day, revelers will be flown to Florence, where the bride and groom will finally exchange vows in a sunset ceremony at the 16th century fortress, which costs more than $400,000 to rent.
The morning after the big bash, Kimye’s friends and loved ones can nurse their hangovers during a brunch at Corsini Villa a Castello, 6 miles from Forte di Belvedere.
As for how the lucky 120 or so guests will return home, sources tell Us they don’t need to fret. “Everything’s been taken care of, the wedding planners are very hands-on.”
