Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt and I Don’t Have a Wedding Date, It Will Be “Memorable” With Our Six Kids

Two years after confirming their engagement, Angelina Jolie revealed that she and longtime partner Brad Pitt haven't set a wedding date, but their six children will be involved

What's the rush? It's been two years since Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got engaged, and yet the power couple have made no concrete plans when it comes to walking down the aisle. During an appearance on Good Morning America, the Maleficent actress talked to co-anchor George Stephanopoulos about Pitt, and how their six children will be involved in their future ceremony.

"We don't have a date, and we're not hiding anything, but we really don't know," Jolie, 38, said. "We talk to the kids about it once in a while—and one of them suggested paintball. And we thought, 'Well, different,'" she said with a laugh.

"So who knows," Jolie continued. "You know, I think the important thing is that whatever we do it's that the kids do have a great time, and we all—you know, take seriously the love, and the connection between all of us. But also just get silly and do something memorable." (The couple are parents to son Maddox, 12, son Pax, 10, daughter Zahara, 9, daughter Shiloh, 7, son Knox, 5, and daughter Vivienne, 5.)

Jolie and Pitt, 50, have been busy with projects since 2012. Pitt had a memorable awards season this year, with his film 12 Years a Slave taking home the Oscar for Best Picture. He shot the World War II drama Fury in London in late 2013, while Jolie simultaneously directed the WWII film Unbroken on location in Australia.

Jolie, for her part, also made the courageous decision to undergo a preventive double mastectomy last year. She candidly opened up about her journey, inspiring other women along the way. "I really didn't know how people would react. I didn't know if there would be some kind of strange silly reaction," she told Stephanopoulos. "I wasn't worried about it, but I didn't expect there to be so much support. And I was very moved by it. It's connected me so much to other families, other women."

Clearly, Jolie and her husband-to-be don't seem to be slowing down. As Jolie continues to promote the live-action film Maleficent, the twosome are next gearing up to collaborate on a new film, which Jolie wrote. (They last shared the screen in 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith, where they first met.)

"It's not a big movie, it's not an action movie," Jolie told Extra on May 20. "It's the kind of movie we love, but aren't often cast in. It's a very experimental, independent-type film where we get to be actors together and be really raw, open, try things."
