Bye, Felicia! And Felicia and Felicia! Selena Gomez appeared to refer to ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber via Instagram on Thursday, February 25 — or at least that’s what commenters suggested.
The drama began after Gomez, 23, allegedly posted a video of herself rapping to Lil Wayne‘s breakup tune “Single,” which she has since deleted.
“She hate it when I do that s–t. And when I get home she goes through my s–t,” Gomez raps, reciting the lyrics. At the end of the video she allegedly shouts, “I’m single!”
Fans quickly accused her of throwing shade at Bieber. In response, she replied in the comments section of one of her Instagram photos. “I want to delete my Instagram,” she allegedly wrote on Thursday. “There’s no drama. Everyone else creates drama. Including this post.”
She added: “I WAS SINGING BACK TO LIL WAYNE. MY LIFE ISNT [ABOUT] MY EX.” (A screenshot of her supposed message was posted on several Tumblr pages.)
Gomez has made it known that she’s done talking about Bieber, 21. (The pair split for the second time in 2014.) “I’m so exhausted,” the “Same Old Love” singer told W magazine earlier this month. “I honestly am so done. I care about his health and well-being. But I can’t do it anymore.”
