Gilmore Girls Band Hep Alien Reunites After Seven Years: Performance Picture

Gang’s all here! The fictional band Hep Alien from the fan favorite series Gilmore Girls recently reunited after seven years — and yes, Lane was there!

“Tonight @KeikoAgena got back on the drums for Fell In Love With A Girl,” John Cabrera captioned a picture via Twitter on Saturday, Oct. 4. “@Todd__Lowe & I had to join in. #GilmoreGirls.”

For the epic get together, Cabrera (Brian Fuller) was joined by Keiko Agena on drums (Rory Gilmore’s BFF Lane Kim) and Todd Lowe (Zack Van Gerbig) as they appeared to play in someone’s basement.

Since its series finale, Cabrera went on to appear in Numb3rs, Without a Trace, the YouTube digital series H+ and the 2012 film The Giant Mechanical Man. Agena had guest starring roles on Shameless, Scandal, and the ABC Family series Twisted. Lowe, for his part, went on to play Terry Bellefleur on True Blood.

The Stars Hollow jam session happened just days after it was announced that Gilmore Girls would be heading to Netflix on Oct. 1. The show — which starred Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham as the fast-talking mother-daughter duo — aired from October 2000 to May 2007.
