Busted! Though they didn’t walk the red carpet together at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, Aug. 10, new couple Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed showed off plenty of PDA upon arrival at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Twilight star Reed, 26, skipped the red carpet altogether, but held her Vampire Diaries beau, 35, tight as he kissed her in front of photographers backstage.
Somerhalder and his Vampire Diaries co-star and ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev presented separately at the show, and never appeared together. As it happens, Dobrev, 25, and Reed share another romantic link: They both dated Dancing With the Stars dance pro Derek Hough in the past year.
Things have been heating up between Reed and Somerhalder in the past month. After Us Weekly broke the news of their relationship, the couple has been spotted out jogging, running errands, and even adopting a horse named Eagle together.
“Proud new dad… What amazing creatures they are. Wow,” Somerhalder captioned an Instagram photo hugging his new pet. “His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big baby boy.”
