Teresa Giudice Warns Housewives at RHONJ Reunion: People May Come on the Show to “Hurt You”

Teresa Giudice's life has not turned out the way she expected. During part two of the three-part Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion on Thursday, Nov. 6, the embattled reality star reflected on the expectations she had when she first joined the Bravo TV series back in 2009.

"I came on the show for fun, and it went totally a different way," Giudice, 42, told Bravo exec and reunion host Andy Cohen. "I mean, look where I'm at now. I was so naive."

Where she's at now, of course, is just a couple of months away from reporting to prison. Both she and her husband Joe were sentenced in October to serve time on charges of fraud.

The mom of four daughters doesn't blame RHONJ for her legal troubles, but she does think her reputation suffered at the hands of some costars and former friends.

"There were people that came on the show that tried to hurt Joe and I," she said at the reunion, without naming names. "Some of them were Housewives, and some of them were strangers. Like, even people that just came to parties started a lot of trouble."

She then warned her fellow RHONJ cast mates to not be too trusting. "Just be careful," she cautioned. "There are people that come on the show that try to hurt you."
