On the heels of the news of Rihanna‘s second Viva Glam collaboration with MAC comes word of another iconic beauty to pair up with the renowned makeup brand.
Brooke Shields will partner with MAC for its next Icon collection, available in October. After a chance run-in with James Gager, MAC’s senior vice president and creative director, resulted in the deal, the Army Wives actress, 49, dove into research.
“I went through all of my makeup, opened it all up, looked at it all and started to decide what of each product I loved — whether it was from MAC or some obscure brand I got on a shoot in Japan,” the former model told WWD. “So many times you get asked to ‘create’ something, but it ends up being ‘put your face on this.’ I got to run with this, and I loved every detail of it.”
The result, which will range from $17 to $85, will be the largest Icon collection ever, including a 16-piece eyeshadow palette, blush, lipsticks, glosses, nail polish, mascara, and, of course, a brow liner and brow set.
