Nicole Napolitano is telling her side of the story. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is slamming her fellow newcomer Amber Marchese for claiming that she once broke up a marriage.
"When I started dating him, he was well into his single life, separated from his wife. I dated him for two years and then we broke up," Napolitano exclusively tells Us Weekly of her unnamed ex-boyfriend. "Three months after we broke up, he was hospitalized and couldn't take care of himself so he moved back in with his family. Once he was better and back on his feet, he moved back out and is still living on his own to this day," she explained.
The feud between the Bravo newbies began earlier this season when Marchese told RHONJ vet Melissa Gorga that she "heard through the grapevine" that Napolitano once split up a marriage. Gorga later told Napolitano and her twin sister Teresa Aprea about Marchese's comment while shopping.
What happened next? At her boyfriend Bobby's "first responders" bash, Napolitano ripped out a piece of Marchese's hair during an altercation. Marchese then fired back, stating that Gorga twisted her words.
"From the beginning, I thought Amber and I were friends so I was hurt that she would say this about me," Napolitano tells Us. "There was nothing for her to gain by making up something like this. It was obvious that her intentions were not in the right place."
