She went on to explain that she found solace after the tragedy in her faith and her husband Urban, with whom she shares daughters Sunday Rose, 6, and Faith Margaret, 3.

“I do both probably, that would be me right now,” Kidman said of leaning on faith and family. “I’m lucky to have a rock of a husband and a strong faith. I have both those things.”

The Grace of Monaco star noted that she has seen some similarities between her husband of eight years and her late father.

“Keith and my dad — good men,” Kidman said. “Choosing to protect his family and take care of himself, but take care of his daughters, and walk the walk, if that makes sense, not just talk the talk.”
