Modern Family beach day! The cast of the hit ABC sitcom filmed scenes together at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia on Friday, Feb. 21. As expected, to play her sexy Colombian character Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, Sofia Vergara flaunted her famous curves in a skimpy monokini.
The 41-year-old actress showed some skin — and major cleavage — in the neon pink, orange, and green Agent Provacateur swimsuit. For a little modesty, Vergara also wore a long purple skirt worn low around her waist.
Vergara wasn’t the only Modern Family cast member, however, to show off their beach body. The actress was spotted splashing in the water with a shirtless Ty Burrell. The 46-year-old actor plays Phil Dunphy, who is married to Julie Bowen‘s character Claire Dunphy. He revealed his slim physique while only wearing swim trunks with red writing on it.
Vergara’s onscreen husband Ed O’Neill (Jay Pritchett), Sarah Hyland (Haley Dunphy), Ariel Winter (Alex Dunphy), Nolan Gould (Luke Dunphy) and Rico Rodriguez (Manny Delgado) were also seen filming on the beach. O’Neill, 67, left his shirt on for the scene, and Bowen, 43, wore a blue cover-up over her swimsuit.
Hyland wore a low-cut blue monokini while relaxing in the sun on a reclining chair. The 23-year-old actress appeared to be in good spirits while filming, despite an upsetting incident she suffered the previous day. On Thursday, Feb. 20, Hyland was allegedly groped by a fan while attending a party hosted by Qantas at The Sebel Pier One in Sydney.
“Sorry to all the fans outside the #qantas event that I didn’t get to say hi to but I had to leave due to an inappropriate touch of a fan,” she tweeted. Her boyfriend, Matt Prokop, also tweeted: “To the a–hole who assaulted Sarah tonight I hope to God you don’t see next week.”
