Andi Dorfman on Fiance Josh Murray: We Were “On Top of Each Other 24 Hours a Day” After the Finale

Andi Dorfman
Season 10 Bachelorette Andi Dorfman couldn't say enough good things about fiance Josh Murray in Atlanta's Jezebel magazine -- see highlights from her interview, including what she's looking for in a wedding dress!

Undercover lovers no more! Since going public with their engagement after the July 28 season 10 finale of The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray have been all about the PDA. Prior to that, though, they were holed up in their hometown of Atlanta, stealthily carrying on behind closed doors. In an interview conducted before the finale with Atlanta lifestyle mag Jezebel, Dorfman opened up about her then-secret romance with Murray, who proposed in May.

"We have a safe house that we live at basically, and we've been on top of each other 24 hours a day," the 27-year-old former assistant district attorney told the mag. "We get on each other's nerves sometimes, but it's very realistic. It's kind of interesting how you get thrust into it—we're basically living together."

Dorfman went on to gush about her fiance, saying she's a true "believer" in the magic of The Bachelorette since meeting and falling in love with him. "I think if Josh wasn't there I would not be engaged right now—I really, truly believe that. So I can't help but think that part of it is the show, and a lot of it is fate," she shared.

Asked what she loves most about her husband-to-be, she replied, "If I had to say one thing, I think I love that he genuinely is my best friend. I call him for everything. He's the last person I want to talk to at night, the first person I want to talk to in the morning. I just want to tell him everything. I can be whoever I want around him. I don't have to put on all this makeup and get in a glamorous gown. He's just my partner through it all."

Speaking of glamorous gowns, Dorfman told the mag she wants to walk down the aisle in a "simple dress"—something different from the "bling-bling" numbers she wore for the Bachelorette rose ceremonies. "I never really dreamt of my wedding growing up," she said. "I consider myself a romantic, but I was never the girl that dreamt of a wedding."

She added, "This sounds so cheesy, but I just want to marry Josh, so I don't really care about the details of the wedding."

Murray is equally smitten. On Tuesday, Aug. 5, he shared an Instagram shot of his bride-to-be's Jezebel cover, captioning it, "Wow, my fiance @andi_dorfman is smokin' … and Taken!!"
