Back on? Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were spotted hanging out together on Monday, Aug. 18, just two months after calling it quits.
The couple, who separated in June after two and a half years of dating, were spotted in a BMW convertible with (naturally) matching top knots.
According to an eyewitness, “Casper was driving and J.Lo was in the passenger seat. They had the music on loud and were both grooving to the music and laughing together.” After noticing photographers, the observer tells Us, Lopez “was sliding down as low as she could in her seat so she wouldn’t be seen. Casper put the top up and then they went back to her house.”
“They still have a lot of love for each other and are incredibly close,” another insider tells Us of the coordinated couple. “It doesn’t surprise me to hear they are hanging out and having fun.”
At the time of the split, a source told Us, it was “an amicable process…but wasn’t an easy decision.”
Since splitting from the dancer-choreographer, who is set to choreograph the opening act at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, Lopez has been romantically linked to Dancing With the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Lopez, 45, and Smart, 27, first stepped out together in November 2011, just four months after the American Idol judge split from her third husband Marc Anthony.
