Out of the water, and into the kitchen! Open water swimmer Haley Anderson will appear on the April 1 episode of Hell’s Kitchen — which means she’ll get to try all the delicious food!

“I love cooking shows,” the 2012 silver medalist tells Us Weekly. “I love cooking and home renovation shows — those are my two go-tos. I like to fancy myself a chef, but I’m not that good. I cook at home a lot, I don’t eat out a lot, so it’s fun to see some great chefs cooking.”

The 24-year-old, who competes in the 10-kilometer open water event, admits her own cooking is not too adventurous. She prefers to make her favorite dish, pizza! But she definitely has an appreciation for the fine dining Gordon Ramsay insists on.

“Being right there, being able to see the chef’s cooking — I think that’s so awesome to see! And of course you have Gordon Ramsay yelling everything — and it’s definitely cool seeing that in person. And all the food was amazing!” Anderson, who appears on the episode alongside Family Ties actress Meredith Baxter, gushes to Us.

But if you think Chef Ramsay’s yelling scared her away, think again.

“When I see other people getting yelled at, it makes me laugh, which is probably really bad, so I was trying to suppress my giggles the entire time!” she says, laughing.

Check out a clip of Anderson’s appearance below, and be sure to watch Hell’s Kitchen on Fox on Friday, April 1, at 9 p.m.
