Guessing Kim Kardashian is not a member of Adrian Grenier‘s entourage! The HBO hunk shared a link to an article about how Instagram affects society’s perception of class structure on Wednesday, July 16, while using the reality TV queen as an example.

“Read this article,” Grenier, 38, told his 256,000-plus followers of a piece called “Ways of Seeing Instagram” by ArtNet. The piece, Grenier claimed, was good “for reflections on how #Instagram confirms class structure and distracts us from our true goals of equality and spiritual alignment with the true political needs of justice, free from the oppression of capitalism.”

Grenier accompanied his message with split-screen imagery used in ArtNet’s post. Featured up top was a painting by 19th century Spanish artist, Leonardo Alenza, called “Maja Dormida.” The work of art shows a topless woman reclining on a couch, while dressed luxuriously in pearls and other adornments. The piece, when translated, means “sleeping nude.”

The bottom half shows Kardashian channeling the same painting; the reality star seductively reclines against a table and wears nothing but pearls, a fur stole, and lingerie. Kanye West‘s wife shared the provocative photo in a February 2014 #TBT post, which she captioned: “day dreaming.”

Grenier also added an excerpt from the ArtNet piece, which quoted a passage from John Berger‘s Ways of Seeing. It read, “Glamour cannot exist without personal social envy being a common and widespread emotion. The industrial society which has moved towards democracy and then stopped half way is the ideal society for generating such an emotion. The pursuit of individual happiness has been acknowledged as a universal right. Yet the existing social conditions make the individual feel powerless. He lives in the contradiction between what he is and what he would like to be.”

Entourage standout Grenier oftentimes uses social media to promote environmental and social causes, alongside snippets of his swanky celebrity life. On Monday, July 14, he shared a picture of himself driving behind the wheel of a luxury vehicle. “Grabbing a bite at #lobsterroll before I peel out in this beast #FTYPECoupe @JaguarUSA #burningrubber,” he wrote.

On July 2, the actor reflected about humanity with a reference to a Pink Floyd song. “All in all we may all just be bricks in the wall,” he wrote beside the artsy snapshot, “but if one of us were missing, there would be a hole in the wall. #justsaying.”
