Drake and Chris Brown Joke About Their Brawl in Funny Skit at 2014 ESPYS

Even the bottles had a shelf life! Drake and Chris Brown made fun of their 2012 bar brawl in a funny video skit which was shown live at the 2014 ESPYS held Wednesday, July 16, at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

The stars, whose posses came to blows in 2012 in an NYC nightclub, referred to the incident in the clip. Blake Griffin joined the fun, too—first battling it out with the 2014 ESPYS host over whether their segment should be called “Blake and Drake” or “Drake and Blake.”

In the skit, the two somehow end up in a dentist’s office, with NBA player Griffin, 25, hovering over his rival, in the style of Steve Martin‘s memorable scene from 1986 movie, Little Shop of Horrors. The horrified “Started From the Bottom” rapper asks Griffin, “Are you really going to do this?”

The screen went dark, and Griffin and Brown showed up onstage at the Nokia Theatre. On the projector behind the two replacement hosts was Drake, gagged and tied up in hostage form, while Breezy introduced himself to the crowd as “America’s sweetheart.”

Since their epic feud, Drake, 27, and Brown, 25, have made amends. The two even hung out “in the studio” together, as Brown shared with fans last October.

An insider told Us Weekly that both stars got along great during rehearsals ahead of the 2014 ESPYS. “They were actually really friendly with each other,” the source said, adding that it “didn’t seem like there was any tension at all.”
