Pawn Stars’ Chumlee Will Fight Felony Weapon and Drug Charges: ‘Looking Forward to the Truthful Conclusion’

After his arrest this past week, Pawn Stars standout Austin “Chumlee” Russell will fight the felony weapon and drug charges against him, as well as the allegations of sexual assault if filed, his lawyer told the Associated Press on Thursday, March 10.

The reality star’s defense attorney, David Chesnoff, told the AP that he was “looking forward to the truthful conclusion” in Chumlee’s ongoing woes. Chumlee, 33, was released from jail on Thursday after his $62,000 bail was posted.

Police raided Chumlee’s home on Wednesday, March 9, after a search warrant was approved in a sexual-assault complaint against the reality star. The investigation regarding the assault is still open. Las Vegas police, however, arrested the star after they found methamphetamine and marijuana in his home, in addition to at least one gun.
