This just keeps getting better. Deadmau5 responded to Kanye West’s tweets on Wednesday, March 2, after the rapper mocked the DJ. West tweeted that Deadmau5, 35, looks like Minnie Mouse and taunted him about performing at daughter North West’s birthday party.
“@kanyewest perform at your own daughters parties. You’re a bigger f—kin clown than anyone I know,” the “Ghosts ’n’ Stuff” producer tweeted, as well as, “Imma let you finish … But you should probably be saving the money for a 4th grade education.”
Their feud began after Deadmau5 accused West on Tuesday, March 1, of illegally downloading synthesizer software Serum off piracy site the Pirate Bay. West had tweeted out a photo of his computer screen, and one of his browser tags revealed he was on the site.
“What the f–k @kanyewest … Can’t afford serum? D–k,” tweeted Deadmau5, who is co-founder of the company that makes Serum, sending the Yeezy designer off into a rant about the DJ’s signature headpiece.
“# ok very serious question…,” West, 38, replied. “# whose job is it to carry the head on the plane # hash tag # do you check the mickey mouse head or carry on # does it get hot? … # ok another super serious question … is there a portable fan situation? … # I’m bored ### when you get married will your wife have a giant minnie mouse head? # This brightened up my day… thank you dead-mow-five … Do you do birthday parties?? My daughter loves Minnie mouse…”
To put the cherry on the top, Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman, changed his Twitter handle to “Dead Mow Cinco.” For the record, his stage name is pronounced “dead mouse.”
