Stars, they’re just like Us — especially when it comes to worshipping the toddler goddess that is Blue Ivy Carter! At the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, Beyonce and Jay Z’s adorable 2-year-old daughter made her first televised debut, and the Internet ate up every precious moment.
Even major A-Listers were smitten with the tiny tot’s appearance, tweeting about the experience for their millions of followers. One of the night’s biggest performers (and most animated audience members), Taylor Swift, let her emotions get the better of her, writing, “Every time I see Blue Ivy, I cry. #VMAs.”
Katy Perry didn’t even attempt to keep her cool, tweeting, “OMG BLUE IVY JUST PERSONALLY WAVED AT ME. MY LIFE IS OVER.”
While watching from home, new mom Kelly Clarkson was touched by Beyonce’s tribute to her baby girl during her Video Vanguard Award performance.
“Okay @Beyonce I am a new mama and totally crying at your baby tribute, also when you perform it is in-freakin-credible!!! #godblessgirl,” she tweeted.
Blue certainly stole the show, bouncing on her dad’s knee throughout her mom’s performance and cheering Beyonce on while presenting her with the award, shouting, “Yeah, Mommy!”
