Haters gonna hate, hate, hate! Taylor Swift went bold for the MTV 2014 Video Music Awards, seemingly giving little thought to outfit critics when she chose a risky printed romper.
The "Shake It Off" singer, 24, walked the red carpet at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. on Sunday, Aug. 24, in a sleeved Mary Katrantzou blue playsuit with barely-there bottoms. The onesie featured a textured print with letters of the alphabet and black piping at the neckline.
The booty shorts of the romper showed off Swift's famous legs. She topped off the look with a pair of purple Elie Saab cage heels, Lorraine Schwartz earrings and rings, and Ofira gold pave bands.
The country crooner later switched her look to hit the stage for a performance of her new single "Shake It Off," slipping into a sexy two-piece sequined outfit. The track is the first cut off Swift's newly announced upcoming studio album 1989, which is due out in October.
