Shakira and her abs have a little competition in the form of a group of shirtless college men. University of Oxford’s all-male a cappella group Out of the Blue took on the international superstar with an amazing new medley of her hits.
The talented Brits released a take on Shakira’s 2006 smash single “Hips Don’t Lie,” with proceeds from the track going to charity. Harmonizing and replacing the song’s instruments with their vocals, the men of Out of the Blue mimic the singer’s impressive dance moves, stripping down at times to just their jackets and pants or going shirtless.
The college crooners then try their hands at 2001’s “Whenever, Wherever” and 2010’s “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa),” completing the medley.
It wasn’t just fans who were impressed with the performance, either. Shakira herself recently expressed her admiration for the work via Twitter.
“Hey @ootboxford, we LOVE your a capella Shak medley!” she wrote. The Grammy winner went on to add on Facebook, “The Oxford choir – Out Of The Blue is awesome! And the fact that they are doing this for charity makes it all the more special…soo well done!! Shak.”
