The arrival of May not only brings Us closer to the official start of summer; it also marks the beginning of Skin Cancer Awareness Month.
As a spokeswoman of L’Oreal Paris, Lea Michele is on a mission to urge everyone from the fairest to the darkest of complexions to wear sunscreen to help prevent melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer.
“We’ve been told not to smoke and not to text while driving, and now we must be told to never forget our sunscreen,” the Glee actress says in the new PSA for the It’s That Worth It campaign.
The 27-year-old is full of all kinds of tips these days, which she’s included in her upcoming book, Brunette Ambition.
In the lifestyle book, the singer shares her “foolproof system for remaining healthy and centered … to beauty and fashion secrets,” as well as never before seen pics.
