Happy baby, happy parents! Jenni "JWoww" Farley can't get enough of her little girl, 3-week-old Meilani. Speaking with Us Weekly in advance of her episode of David Tutera's CELEBrations, which airs Friday, Aug. 8, the first-time mom gushed all about her daughter's sweetest habits and milestones, saying she and fiance Roger Mathews actually battle for the privilege of changing her dirty diapers.
"She's so beautiful. Roger said it the other day, 'You could smear her in poop and she'd still look gorgeous,'" the Jersey Shore alum, 28, told Us of her newborn. "She really is so pretty."
Pretty—and pretty active! "The craziest part of her is that she's been wide awake since birth! People keep saying she has such a great personality and is always awake and doing stuff," Farley bragged. "She's very aware of her surroundings, and people say that's not normal, so I'm already just so proud and think she's so special. She loves being held, and she loves looking at our faces and grabbing our fingers."
She's even lively when she naps! "Roger and I crack up," the MTV reality star told Us. "She just giggles in her sleep and then goes back to bed. It's so cute."
Both she and her husband-to-be are over-the-moon about parenting. "We're so excited. We actually have to fight over parental responsibilities because [Roger's] such a doting dad—he wants to do everything and hold her all the time, and I tell him he's gotta give her up because I want to hold her, too!" Farley gushed.
"He would take care of her 24/7 if he had his way, and that, to me, is special—knowing I have someone who wants to be such a big part of her life, especially when it comes to poopy diapers and her spitting up and stuff like that," she continued. "He's all about changing diapers and cleaning up after her!"
Mathews' paternal instincts actually kicked in even before Meilani was born. When Farley first got pregnant, he decided to do the responsible thing and sell his cherished motorcycle. She knew how bummed he was about not having it anymore, though, so at his surprise birthday party in April—the one featured on Tutera's show—she gave him a new bike to replace his old one.
"I don't think I'm ever throwing him another birthday party again, because I'm never going to be able to top this," the MTV reality star quipped of the epic bash. "I give up. From now on he'll get breakfast and maybe a card."
JWoww also spoke with Us about her BFF, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who's preparing to welcome her second child while planning a wedding to fiance Jionni LaValle.
"She's a superhero right now," Farley said of Polizzi. "She is having a baby, planning a wedding, and moving into a new house, and she is doing it all on her own and everything is happening within six months."
"I think this pregnancy is much easier on her…She's really pulling it all together," JWoww added. "I did promise her I would help her get into shape, after the baby and before the wedding, because for some reason I've lost all my baby weight already…I have no idea how it happened. I thought I was going to look like a walrus after having [Meilani]."
