Pregnant Zoe Saldana appeared on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, where she opened up about her due date, her constant hunger, and wanting to be told she's sexy

Start the countdown! Pregnant Zoe Saldana stopped by The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson on Wednesday, Oct. 15, and opened up about how she's feeling as her due date approaches. The Book of Life actress, 36, is set to welcome twin boys with husband Marco Perego later this year.

"I still have a ways to go," she shared. "We have maybe, I don't know, eight more weeks or something? Ten more weeks? I feel great."

Well, great and ravenous. "I'm hungry all the time. I really am," she admitted. As if on cue, Ferguson pulled out a tray of food from under his desk, along with a white cloth napkin, which he draped across Saldana's baby bump.

"Oh my god! This is really good!" the Guardians of the Galaxy star exclaimed as she picked at some barbecue ribs. "And they're warm! Would it be really obnoxious if I just grabbed the rib and [chowed down]? I have to say, nothing makes me happier than to see a pregnant woman eat, especially in L.A."

Ferguson agreed, and then revealed that he'd recently decided to go vegetarian — but was having second thoughts watching her eat the ribs. "Have you ever done it?" he inquired.

"I have," she replied. "For one season, I lost the taste of meat. So I was just having, like, lentils and quinoa. But then there was a bad night where I had a little too much to drink and I ended up at In-N-Out."

Asked whether she's had any specific pregnancy cravings, Saldana joked, "No, not at all. Just ribs." She continued, "Actually, you'd be surprised. I'm just hungry. It feels good. Food just tastes so delicious."

The mom-to-be noted that she had never really been a "salad person" but was letting herself indulge even more now. "You trick yourself, working in Hollywood. You trick yourself, going, 'That burger's disgusting. That burger's awful,'" she explained. "But now that [I'm] pregnant, [I'm] like, 'I can eat all this together, at the same time. Like, I can have the pickle with the donut, and it would probably be life-changing.'"

Her appetite isn't the only thing that's changed, either. "I've been watching a lot of crime shows," she shared. "Murder mysteries. And I'm solving the case at like 2:00 in the morning. Because that's one of the gifts of being pregnant — sometimes you just can't sleep…My husband wakes up, and I'm just like, 'He totally did it.'"

The stunning star also talked with Ferguson about her increasing need to be told she's sexy while pregnant. "People think that they're not supposed to compliment pregnant women," she told him after he complimented her appearance. "The best thing a pregnant women can hear is the word 'sexy.' It's like, 'Oh, you think I'm sexy? Yes! I'm sexy.'"

She continued: "Usually, I'm such an activist for women's rights and everything. I'm like, 'Excuse me, do not objectify me,' or whatever. But now that I'm pregnant, I'm kind of itching for sexy comments, like compliments."

Nothing more than that, though. "Not getting picked up, because my husband will kill you," she quipped. "But like, you know, 'Your wife is looking really hot.' We like that."
