He could be a winner! Nine months after her dramatic split from ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers, Real Housewives of Orange County OG Vicki Gunvalson has moved on and is now dating a new man.
Gunvalson’s current boyfriend made his debut on her Instagram on May 7, and the reality star shared that they’ve been dating for a short while. “Date night #10 ….I think,” the mom of two wrote alongside a photo of herself with her smiling beau. “#fun, #happy, #lovescountry, #politician, #retiredlawenforcement, #helikesme.”
The reality star’s mystery honey has already met several members of her inner circle, including family. The consultant posted a photo of her boyfriend and family members on Sunday, May 15. “After a long week and long flight home, I was still able to ‘rally’ to see my sister & brother in law, my good friend Brian and his fiancé and this incredible man next to me,” she wrote. “#insuranceconvention.”
So far, it appears that he’s been treating her well. Gunvalson, 54, posted a photo of a beautiful bouquet of red roses several days ago and shared the backstory of the sweet gesture. “After flying 10 hours, I checked into my hotel to be surprised with a beautiful bouquet of a dozen roses,” Gunvalson captioned one pic. “#thankful, #helikesme, #gentleman , #farfromhome.”
He sent her another gorgeous display of flowers on Monday, May 16, writing in his note, “Happy Anniversary Baby, ‘S.'”
Gunvalson added on Instagram, “After meeting this amazing man 1 month ago today, he surprised me with my 2nd set of roses in a week. #sothoughtful , #thatsafirst.”
Us Weekly broke the news last August that Gunvalson and her boyfriend of four years, Ayers, had split for good, and the breakup caused a tremendous amount of tension between Gunvalson and her RHOC castmates. Ayers not only had a tumultuous relationship with his ex’s closest friends and her family members, but he was also at the forefront of a huge scandal. The businessman, who claimed he had cancer, was accused of fabricating medical documents last summer. Ayers, however, has maintained his medical diagnosis.
Prior to her big revelation, Gunvalson spoke exclusively with Us Weekly last month at the book release party for Terry and Heather Dubrow‘s Dr. and Mrs. Guinea Pig in Costa Mesa, California, where she revealed she was happy with her boyfriend.
“I’m great! I’m dating now. It’s slow but it’s good,” she told Us at the time. “I’m in a very good place.”
