Bad blood remains between Camille Grammer and her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 46, stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and dished about her relationship with the actor, the father to her two children.
“I’m going to be honest, total dick,” Camille said of the Frasier star, 59. “He’s an ass. I can say it.”
The Grammers famously went through a messy divorce in 2010, which unfolded during season one of RHOBH and was finalized in February 2011. The split followed a well-publicized affair on Kelsey’s end, which resulted in his fourth marriage to his then-mistress.
Kelsey and his new wife Kayte Walsh, 34, welcomed a daughter in July 2012 and a son in July 2014, making the Emmy winner the father of six children. Camille noted that her ex’s parenting is part of why their relationship is now so volatile.
“He has to learn to love his kids more than he hates me,” she told WWHL host Andy Cohen on the episode airing after Tuesday’s season five premiere of RHOBH. “That’s the bottom line.”
Grammer waxed nostalgic with Cohen, 46, about her two full seasons on the Bravo show with her former RHOBH castmates Adrienne Maloof and Taylor Armstrong. The three ladies were asked by a caller whether they regretted their time on the reality show, prompting them to reflect on their decisions.
“I loved meeting the girls and having the experience,” Camille said of her seasons. “Looking back, it was really hard the first season because Kyle [Richards] and I were fighting and I said some things, especially about [Kyle’s husband] Mauricio… he’s a very successful real estate agent now and I said something about that the first season, and I’m eating my hat. He’s a great guy, really successful, and I really care for Kyle and I love the whole family.”
Following Camille’s response, Cohen brought up the Housewife’s entrance to the show with Maloof, 53, as both women were encouraged by their then-husbands.
“You were great friends with Kelsey and Camille and it seems to me that in the rearview mirror, Kelsey really pushed you to be on the show,” Cohen said to the pair. “He wanted you to be on the show and it seemed like it was some kind of a plan, in which you would have your own thing and then he would go off.”
“For him to get rid of me,” Camille interjected. “He said it was his gift for me, my parting gift.”
